Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the 7minus service, operated by Sevenminus LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. By using the service you agree to them.

What the service does

7minus answers calls that a subscribing business does not answer, records a message from the caller, and sends that caller a text message about their inquiry. It delivers the resulting information to the subscribing business.

Text messaging

We message a caller only after they have called a subscriber's business line and left a voicemail. Message frequency varies by conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we will not do

The service does not quote prices, schedule work, commit to arrival times, accept liability, or make any other promise on a subscribing business's behalf. Anything of that kind comes from the business directly, not from us.

Subscriber responsibilities

• Configure call forwarding on your own line, and keep it configured. We cannot see or change a carrier-side forwarding setting.
• Give accurate business information, including the name callers hear and the number used for passthrough.
• Use the service only for your own business's calls, and comply with applicable law, including telephone and messaging regulations.
• Do not use the service to send marketing, promotional, or solicitation messages.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. When any part of the system fails, calls fall through to a message giving the caller the subscribing business's own phone number, which is the behavior the caller would have had without us.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that transcriptions, translations or lead details will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sevenminus LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business or lost opportunities, arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Indemnity

Subscribing businesses agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sevenminus LLC from claims arising out of their use of the service, including claims relating to their own communications with their customers, their call forwarding configuration, and their compliance with applicable law.

Termination

Either party may end the arrangement at any time. On termination we stop answering calls for the account, and the subscriber should clear their call forwarding.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes on this page with a revised date.
